Hyeonkyeong You

Hyeonkyeong You (b. 1985, Cheongju) is a painter whose energetic brushstrokes and bold use of space blend expressionist vitality with oriental influences. Her recent works draw inspiration from Asian heritage — Buddha figures, castles, and towers — while moving fluidly between abstraction and figuration.
